Aston Martin has recently announced its plans to introduce the new Vanquish Volante next month, during the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The official announcement has been recently made by the British based automaker, who has used a press release to talk about the new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante and its Pebble Beach debut, on the 18th of August, 2013.
“The Pebble Beach week is now well established as a global celebration of the automobile and we are delighted to be a featured marque for 2013, celebrating our first 100 years, while also looking forward to the future”, said Julian Jenkins, the Aston Martin Regional Director for The Americas.
As a quick reminder, the new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine, the same one from the Coupe, which is good for 573 HP (421 kW) at 6,750 rpm and 620 Nm of torque (457 lb-ft), available from 5,500 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in the Vanquish Volante takes 4.1 seconds and top speed stands at 294 km/h (183 mph). The model in question is the first ever Volante to get a carbon fiber body. Prices for the model have been set at 264,995 EUR on the Old Continent.
