The brand new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
“The Pebble Beach week is now well established as a global celebration of the automobile and we are delighted to be a featured marquee for 2013, celebrating our first 100 years, while also looking forward to the future”, said Julian Jenkins, the Aston Martin regional director for The Americas.
As a quick reminder, the Aston Martin Vanquish has been unveiled just a few weeks ago and it’s coming with a triple-skin lightweight fabric roof, which can fold in 14 seconds. This is also the first Volante model to get a carbon fiber body. The model in question is powered by the 6.0 liter V12 engine, the same one used on the coupe, which is producing a total output of 573 HP (421 kW) at 6,750 rpm and it has a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft), available at 5,500 rpm. The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and it has a top speed of 294 km/h (183 mph). Prices for the drop top have been set at 297,995 USD, over-seas.
