Aston Martin has recently announced its plans to introduce the brand new Vanquish Volante to the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, this month.
The new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is ending up in our news once again, two months after it was officially unveiled, this time with the British based automaker announcing its debut at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The model in question is the first ever Volante to get a carbon fiber body and this means that it’s only 9 kg (20 lbs) heavier than the coupe. The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is getting a lightweight triple-skin fabric roof, which can fold in approximately 14 seconds.
Power to the British drop top is being provided by the same engine found in the regular Vanquish, the 6.0 liter V12, which is producing a total output of 573 HP (421 kW), at 6,750 rpm, with a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft), available from 5,500 rpm. Prices for the brand new Aston Martin Vanquish have been set at 264,995 EUR on the Old Continent, at 199,995 GBP in the United Kingdom while its over-seas customers will have to pay 297,997 USD.
