The British based automaker Aston Martin is planning to introduce the new Vanquish Volante during the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
After it was officially unveiled almost a month ago, the new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker planning to introduce it during the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The model in question will set you back for 264,995 euros on the Old Continent and for 297,995 USD in the United States and it will get a triple-skin lightweight fabric roof.
The new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine, the same one found on the Coupe too, which is producing a total output of 573 HP (421 kW) at 6,750 rpm and it has a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft), available at 5,500 rpm. This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint which can be done in 4.1 seconds and a 295 km/h (183 mph) top speed. The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is only 9 kg (19.8 lbs) heavier than its solid roof brother, thanks to a carbon fiber body, becoming the first ever Volante model to get such a body.
