Aston Martin is planning to introduce the new Vanquish Volante next month, in a world premiere, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
After it was caught playing in the snow just a few days before writing this article, the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with a rumor, which is saying that the British based automaker will bring it to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is getting a retractable fabric roof, which can fold down between the boot area and the passenger compartment.
By the time it will hit the market, the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante will use the same 6.0 liter V12 engine, used on the Coupe, which will probably develop a total output of 565 BHP and a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft). The unit will be mated to a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission, which will send power to the rear-wheel drive. The Coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph).
