Aston Martin has been recently spotted testing the new Vanquish Volante, once more, on public roads, with a camouflaged body.
After initially thinking that we will see the brand new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show or even in Shanghai, a month later, the model is still undergoing testing and remains pretty much a secret for the moment. But not for long, because the British based automaker is currently testing it and we might get the chance of seeing it, in an official way, this autumn, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
The brand new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is expected to get the same 6.0 liter V12 engine used on the regular Vanquish, which is producing a total output of 565 BHP and 620 Nm of torque (457 lb-ft). The unit will be mate to a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the rear-wheel drive. The model will also have a similar design, except for the roof, which is fabric rather than solid. Additional details on the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its debut.
