Aston Martin has recently announced its plans to introduce the Vantage GT and the DB9 Carbon Edition to the 2014 New York Auto Show.
Aston Martin is getting ready for the 2014th edition of the New York Auto Show with two models, the Vantage GT and the DB9 Carbon Edition. The Vantage GT is basically a renamed version of the Vantage N430 which made its debut last month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and it will become available in two body styles, coupe and roadster.
“Aston Martin is unveiling two exclusive new special editions for North American markets at the 84th New York International Auto Show this week”, as the carmaker is saying in its official press release.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT has clear taillights, black accents, graphite painted diamond turned alloy wheels, sport seats and some other tweaks, including the sports exhaust system or the competition derived braking system. Power is coming from a 4.7 liter V8 engine, rated at 430 HP (320 kW), enough for a 4.6s sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) and a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h).
Prices for this model start at 99,900 USD and sales will begin in the third quarter of this year. The DB9 Carbon Edition has received the 10-spoke diamond turned alloy wheels, some taillight infills, carbon fiber side strakes, red finished brake calipers, which can also be ordered in black, grey or yellow and some other tweaks.
