Aston Martin has confirmed the selling of the entire Vantage GT12 batch.
It may have started its life under the Vantage GT3 moniker but because of Porsche, it had to change its name to the Vantage GT12. Well, that worked out pretty well for Aston Martin which has managed to sell all 100 examples of the British hardcore sports car. Pricing details haven’t been made public at this time but if you were looking to add such a vehicle to your garage, you have better chances looking for it on the second-hand market, over the next few months.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 has the carbon fiber hood, roof and door casings, the updated dampers and springs, limited slip differential, polycarbonate rear window, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes covered by the 19-inch wheels and several other goodies. In its cabin, we can notice the Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, the leather door pull straps, touch sensitive controls, carbon fiber sports seats and the infotainment system. The most important part of the sports car is found under its hood where the 6.0 liter V12 engine is resting. This is capable of producing a total output of 600 HP (441 kW) and a peak torque of 625 Nm (460 lb-ft), which is enough to allow it to allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and to reach a top speed of 297 km/h (185 mph).
