Audi A1 R18 competition package introduced at Worthersee image

The German based automaker Audi has recently introduced a new competition package for the A1, during the 2013 Worthersee.

Besides introducing the extreme version of the Golf GTI, along with its Cabrio variant, during the 2013 Worthersee, Volkswagen has used the same automotive event in Austria in order to unveil a new special competition package, for the small A1. According to the German based automaker, the new competition package for the A1 is named the R18, after the R18 e-tron Quattro, and it’s purely cosmetic, sharing very little with the Le Mans winning race car.

The brand new Audi A1 R18 competition package is coming with red and gray accents, with a unique tailgate mounted spoiler, with a front spoiler lip, with 378 badging, with new attractive alloy wheels, with black accents, and with some other tweaks. Changed applied to the interior design are limited and they include the unique center console, which is mimicking the exterior design, or the special floor mats. No pricing details have been released on the R18 competition package just yet.
