Audi A3 Sedan and S3 Sedan going to Brazil next year

The German based automaker Audi is planning to launch the A3 Sedan and the S3 Sedan in Brazil next year.

After being officially presented to the public in a world premiere, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, just a couple of weeks ago, the new Audi A3 Sedan and the Audi S3 Sedan are ending up in our news once again, this time with an announcement, which will please Brazilians. The two models will be launched in the South American country in 2014, with the A3 Sedan being the first one out, and the S3 Sedan arriving in mid-2014.

The Audi A3 Sedan is sharing the same platform as the VW Golf 7, the MQB, along with the S3 Sedan. The model is 4.40 meters long, 1.84 meters wide and 1.39 meters tall, with a 2.64 meters wheelbase, 17 cm shorter than the one used on the A4. The A3 Sedan weighs 1.250 kg and for the Brazilian auto market this is expected to gain the 1.4 liter four-cylinder, with 140 HP and 250 Nm, along with the 1.8L TFSI with 180 HP. The S3 Sedan will still get the 2.0L TFSI with its 300 HP and 380 Nm of torque.
