The German based automaker Audi is planning to introduce the final production version of the A3 sedan next month, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but it seems that after many months of testing the car, the brand new Audi A3 Sedan is almost ready to become available to its future customers. According to the guys at autoblog.com, the final production version of the Audi A3 Sedan will be officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in April.
Our source is also saying that the U.S. version of the Audi A3 will become available in two body styles, with four and five doors, which will be powered by both gasoline and diesel engines. The new 1.8 liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline unit will become available for the model, along with the 2.0 liter petrol and the 2.0 liter TDI diesel found in the new A3. The Audi A3 Sedan will ride on the same MQB platform as its three- and five-door brother. The Audi A3 Sedan will be a rival for the new Mercedes-Benz CLA or for the BMW 1-Series Sedan.
