The upcoming Audi A3 Sedan will fill the gap left by the German based automaker and the model is expected to hit dealerships in 2013.
After being officially presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 in concept form, the Audi A3 Sedan is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time by the guys at worldcarfans.com, who have released a rendering of the German vehicle. According to our source, the Audi A3 Sedan will look less aggressively in its final production form and the engine lineup will include both diesel and petrol units, along with a possible plug-in hybrid, which might complete the lineup.
The all-new Audi A3 Sedan will be a direct competitor to the Mercedes-Benz BLS, which is actually a smaller version of the luxurious CLS, and the model will also go against the BMW 1-Series Sedan, which will be placed below the current 3-Series model. The upcoming Audi A3 Sedan is expected to arrive in dealerships across the world starting with next year but the German car manufacturer might pull a surprise on us and present at the Paris Motor Show this autumn or in early 2013 at the NAIAS in Detroit.
