Audi is planning to introduce the final production version of the A3 Sedan to the United Kingdom this year, after it will be unveiled in Shanghai, next month.
Audi’s answer to the brand new and very attractive Mercedes-Benz CLA is named the A3 Sedan and it’s a four-door version of the model wearing the same name. The German based automaker has already announced its plans to introduce the final production version of the Audi A3 Sedan to the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show in April and, according to the guys at Autocar, the model will make its way into the United Kingdom by the end of the year.
The Audi A3 Sedan is riding on the same MQB platform used on the regular A3 hatchback, in its three- and five-door body styles, and it’s expected to get a 1.8 liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline unit under its hood, along with a 2.0 liter petrol and a 2.0 liter TDI diesel, found in the new A3 hatchback. The Audi A3 Sedan will be produced in Gyor, Hungary, and it’s expected to make its European debut during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, this September.
