Audi A3 Sportback e-tron launched in Australia image

Audi has officially launched the 2016 A3 Sportback e-tron in Australia where the model will be setting you back for at least 62, 490 AUD.

The “green” version of the Audi A3 Sportback is now offered for sale in Australia. The model in question has been announced by the automaker and the expected target stand at 10 units monthly, especially since 40 pre-orders have been secured so far. Some of the standard goodies found on the car include the Audi Music interface, the multi-function leather sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, the sport front seats with leather upholstery, convenience key, Audi Parking system, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and park assist.

The Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is also packing the Audi drive select, the efficient LED headlights and LED daytime running lights, the DAB digital radio, MMI Navigation Plus with the MMI touch screen, Bluetooth with audio streaming and several other goodies. The plug-in hybrid system is made out of a petrol-electric arrangement which is making use of an electric motor, rated at 75 HP and a petrol burner, the 1.4 liter TFSI, producing 110 kW. The total output produced stands at 150 kW and 350 Nm of torque and a pure electric driving range of up to 50 km is promised by the automaker. The total range stands at 920 km and the fuel consumption is rated at 1.6L / 100km with CO2 emissions stopping at 37 g/km.
