Audi has announced the introduction of the A3 TDI Sportback to the 2014th edition of the New York Auto Show.
Audi is getting ready to introduce the new A3 TDI Sportback to the United States, just when we were ready to say “farewell” to the diesel hatchback in this country. The carmaker has recently announced the launch of the model but before this will become available to its future customers, the company will be making its debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The C-segment hatchback has coupe-like styling and the utility of a crossover, or at least this is what Audi is saying.
The model will become available with the company’s MMI infotainment system, with the 4G LTE connectivity, Audi drive select and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. Power will be provided by a 2.0 liter clean diesel engine, which is producing a total output of 150 HP. The six-speed S tronic transmission will be offered in standard. Figures such as the fuel economy or the pricing haven’t been announced yet so keep a close eye on its official introduction at the 2014 New York Auto Show in order to find out more about it.
