The German based automaker Audi has recently announced that the facelifted A4 has been launched in Malaysia, where the model has a starting price of RM235,000.
According to the car manufacturer, the Audi A4 facelift will be available in two variants in Malaysia, with the 1.8 TFSI engine and with the larger 2.0 TFSI Quattro unit. The 1.8 liter TFSI petrol engine is turbocharged and direct injected, coming with the start-stop and recuperation system as standard, developing 170 horsepower between 3,800 and 6,200 rpm and 320 Nm of torque between 1,400 and 3,700 rpm. The figures have increased with 10 HP and 70 Nm compared to the previous versions.
The 2.0 liter TFSI petrol unit is developing a total output of 211 horsepower between 4,300 and 6,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 350 Nm available from as low as 1,500 rpm. The engine is mated to an eight-speed multitronic CVT transmission in the 1.8 TFSI and to a seven-speed S tronic gearbox in the 2.0 TFSI.
The exterior modifications on the facelifted A4 include restyled headlamps, new look angled air inlets and fog lights, LED daytime running lights, new front bumper, redesigned taillights, redesigned rear bumper and diffuser. The 1.8 TFSI will be coming with 17-inch alloy wheels and the 2.0 TFSI with larger 18-inch rims. The Audi A4 facelift will be available with 15 colors for the body and the entry-level 1.8 TFSI will be offered from RM235,000 while the 2.0 TFSI Quattro will cost RM309,800.
