The aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have unveiled a new upgraded A5 Sportback, which was named the AS5.
According to the tuning company, the model is now coming with an aerodynamic body kit, made out of a front lip spoiler, a rear diffuser and some other minor tweaks. Future owners of this upgrade package will also be able to order the high performance braking system, the sports exhaust system and the new alloy wheels. The upgrade package is also coming with a choice of two suspension systems, one which is lowering the ride height by 25 mm and the other by 50 mm.
The Audi AS5 signed by ABT Sportsline is also getting some tweaks under its hood too, where the 1.8 liter TFSI version can now produce 211 HP (155 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque, while the larger 2.0 liter TFSI can generate 270 HP (199 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). The larger 3.0 liter TFSI can develop 380 HP (279 kW) and 500 Nm of torque (369 lb-ft). Diesel lovers should know that the 2.0 TDI is now getting 205 HP (151 k) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) and the 3.0 TDI is coming with 300 HP (221 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft). No pricing details on the Audi AS5 have been announced for the moment.
