Audi has announced the official price list for the 2015 A6 and S6 in Australia where models are available for order.
The cheapest version of the 2015 Audi A6 starts from 79,900 AUD, for the 1.8 TFSI S tronic version, while the variant is 2,000 AUD more expensive. Next in the lineup comes the A6 3.0 TDI Quattro S tronic, from 99,900 AUD, followed by the A6 Allroad 3.0 TDI Quattro S tronic, from 111,900 AUD. The range-topping A6 3.0 TDI Biturbo Quattro tiptronic costs 124,900 AUD. The Audi S6 4.0 TFSI Quattro S tronic starts from 1690,900 AUD.
The equipment of the A6 1.8 TFSI includes the S Line exterior package, the LED DRLs, xenon headlights, high-beam assist, electric folding side mirrors, side assist, parking system plus with front and rear cameras, MMI Navigation, infotainment with MMI touch, CD/DVD player, Bluetooth, USB, DAB+ digital radio, 10-speaker audio system, convenience key and more. The A6 3.0 TDI is adding the four-zone climate control, LED headlights, rear dynamic indicators and the 3.0 TDI Biturbo is coming with 19-inch alloy wheels.
The 1.8L four-cylinder engine is rated at 140 kW and 320 Nm of torque, allowing the model to reach 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The 3.0L TDI is good for 160 kW and 500 Nm of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 6.6 seconds. The 3.0 TDI Biturbo is bringing 235 kW and 650 Nm of torque while the S6 Sedan has a 4.0 liter TFSI V8 under its hood, with 331 kW and 550 Nm of torque, providing it with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 4.4 seconds.
