Audi’s recently unveiled A6 ultra will be arriving in Australia in 2015 as the car manufacturer has recently announced.
Australians will be able to order the frugal and yet premium Audi A6 Ultra starting from next year, when the model in question will be arriving in the Pacific country. The vehicle will become available in two body styles, sedan and wagon (Avant) but it remains unknown whether the company will bring it in both versions to Australia. One thing is for sure, though, it will become available with the popular seven-speed dual clutch S tronic transmission in standard.
The Audi A6 Ultra is taking its power from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. The unit is producing a total output of 120 kW and it has a peak torque of 400 Nm, available between 1,750 rpm and 3,000 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 8.2 seconds in the sedan and 8.5 seconds in the wagon. The average fuel consumption stands at 4.4 liters / 100 km for the four-door version and at 4.6 liters / 100 km for the Avant. More details, including its price, will be announced close to its launch.
