The German based automaker Audi is planning to introduce a restyled version of the A8 in a couple of months, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
With BMW launching a facelifted version of the 7-Series not too long ago, being followed by Mercedes-Benz and its new S-Class generation, Audi has probably lost some customers by not upgrading its A8. But the luxurious German car is getting ready to receive a new version in September, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, which should make it even more appealing in the eyes of its future customers.
Rumors are saying that the facelifted version of the Audi A8 will get some styling changes like the front light graphics, the new front grille, some minor adjustments to the front bumper, a different rear bumper which will integrate the tailpipes, modified taillights and some other tweaks. As for the engine lineup, this will include the 3.0 liter twin turbocharged V6 diesel from its smaller brother, the A6, along with the 4.2 liter V8 turbo diesel from the Porsche Cayenne. Additional details on the facelifted Audi A8 are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, on the 10th of September.
