The facelifted version of the Audi A8 has been recently caught on camera by our spy photographers while it was sitting quietly in a parking lot.
We have already reported, just a day ago, that the German based automaker Audi is planning to upgrade the outgoing A8, in order to compete even closer to models like the facelifted BMW 7-Series and even to the newly launched Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and now we’re able to provide you with the first spy photos of the luxury sedan, which are revealing its body, wrapped in camouflage, and also its interior design.
The 2015 Audi A8 in question is actually a prototype version of the model and, as you can see from the images posted below, changes applied to its body will be minimal, and they will include subtle tweaks to the front grille, to the front and rear bumpers and also to the headlamps and taillights. The subtle modifications will be continued in the cabin too, where new technologies, like the Audi connect Internet services will be available, along with a modular infotainment system. As for the engine lineup, the 3.0 liter and the 4.0 liter TFSI units will be carried over and we will also get to see a W12 6.3 liter in the top of the line version, along with a 240 HP 3.0 liter TDI diesel.
