The Audi A8 L Chauffeur Special Edition has been officially announced for Japan as this will be offered in a limited run.

With the new generation of the Audi A8 just around the corner, the German based automaker is trying to make the current one even more popular with the addition of a special edition. The model in question has been called the Audi A8 L Chauffeur Special Edition and it is aimed towards the Japanese market. According to the car manufacturer, the vehicle has been based on the long wheelbase of the A8 facelift and it will be produced in just 5 examples so, if you are interested in it, you should probably contact your local Audi dealership, in Japan, and place a deposit.

The exterior design is getting the 20-inch alloy wheels with the Audi Sport 10Y spoke design while the cabin is bringing the Marble Gray theme, a bar compartment, a cool box mounted between the two individual rear seats and a reading light, amongst others. The Audi A8 L Chauffeur Special Edition is staking its power from the 4.0 liter TFSI V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 435 HP (320 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. These are being sent to the Quattro all-wheel drive through a tiptronic transmission. The special edition of the Audi A8 starts from 16,280,000 YEN, or the equivalent of 132,750 USD, while the A8 TFSI 4.0L LWB is available from 15,640,000 YEN or 127,530 USD.
