The brand new Audi A9 Concept will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, which will be opening its gates next month.
Details on a new flagship model made by Audi, which will be sold under the A9 moniker, have been around for quite some time now but it seems that the German based automaker has taken a step forward and has taken everyone by surprise with this A9 Concept, which will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, in a world premiere.
The image posted above is hinting towards a new range topping A9 model which has been apparently designed at the company’s styling center in Ingolstadt, under the close watch of the carmaker’s chief designer Marc Lichte. The vehicle is believed to be riding on the MLB Evo platform but if you are interested in its production version, you will have to wait until 2017, when rumor has it that the model in question will be hitting the market. This will be followed, later on, by a hotter S9 model, which is expected to pack a 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo engine, rated at 600 HP (447 kW). The A9 Concept will be unveiled on the 18th of November, in Los Angeles.
