One of the first renderings with the upcoming Audi A9 has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a look into the upcoming flagship vehicle.
Recent reports were indicating that the German based automaker Audi is going to be introducing the A9 during the Los Angeles Auto Show. The model in question will be shown in a concept form, at first, and it will be giving birth to a new flagship vehicle. The A9 will be riding on the MLB platform and it will stand at more than 5 meters in length, being basically a large and luxurious four-door coupe.
When it will be eventually shown in its final production form, than the Audi A9 will be getting an aluminum body, a redesigned single frame front grille, according to reports, laser headlights, a digital instrument cluster which was seen on the third generation of the TT and several other tweaks. The same technologies will be eventually implemented in the next generation of the A8 too. The A9 is believed to hit the production line sometimes in 2017. More details on it remain unknown for the moment.
