Audi adds attractive extended warranty to after-sales range image

AUDI AG is now offering an added service to anyone buying a new Audi in Germany: the Audi Extended Warranty. It seamlessly picks up where the two-year manufacturer’s warranty ends and extends it for up to an additional three years. The customer can choose from nine different variants with respect to term and mileage.

The Audi Extended Warranty offers Audi customers numerous advantages. They receive a 100 percent manufacturer’s warranty and are also protected against many unforeseeable repair costs. The Audi Extended Warranty is linked to the vehicle, not the driver, making it more attractive in terms of resale value. Audi is the only premium carmaker offering an extended warranty in Germany without the exclusion criteria typical of insurance plans.

“The level of service offered by the Audi Extended Warranty is far beyond the scope typical of this market,” says Bernd Hoffmann, Head of Sales for After Sales and Genuine Parts. With different term and mileage combinations from which to choose – for up to three years and a maximum of 150,000 kilometers – the Audi Extended Warranty can be adapted to meet the needs of the individual Audi driver. “The customer decides the mileage limit and the length of the warranty period, making risk management more transparent and predictable,” explains Hoffmann.

The Audi Extended Warranty can be ordered as an option and at attractive conditions when buying a new car or when concluding a leasing agreement. It is available in Germany for all models and engine options.
