The Ingolstadt-based automaker is opening the order books in August for the customers in Great Britain, with pricing kicking off from £20, 230 and deliveries from November.
The Baby Audi SUV, the Q2, will be available in three trim levels. The base one is called the Q2 SE and hits the £20,230 milestone, packing 16 inch alloys as well as a standard bevy of equipment and features: heated and electrically adjustable side mirrors, MMI radio plus, MMI controller, Bluetooth interface and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone compatibility. Go higher up the ladder and you’ll find the Sport grade, which calls for a £1,550 upgrade. But in turn the owners will receive a set of 17 inch wheels, SD-card based MMI navigation system with 3-month trial unlock across the Audi connect features, red or yellow inserts in the cabin, cruise control, cloth sport seats, light and rain sensors and the Audi Drive Select.
For another $2,250 you can opt for the flagship S Line that brings 18-inch alloy wheels, LED light clusters front and back, front sport seats wrapped in cloth/leather upholstery, LED ambient lighting, multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel and brushed aluminum trim. The launch models have these powertrains to choose from: 1.4-liter TFSI gasoline with 150 hp and 1.6-liter TDI kicking off 115 hp. Next up, later on, will be offered the 1.0-liter TFSI (115 hp) and the ubiquitous 2.0-liter TDI packing 150 hp. Gearbox choices include the six speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch, while from the middle of next year the higher-spec engines will also become available with the Quattro AWD system.
