Audi of America announced its plan to introduce in the US the all-new 2015 Audi A3 sedan.
The all-new Audi A3 sedan will reach showrooms during the first quarter of 2014, bringing detailed craftsmanship and new innovative technologies to the A segment. The A3 comes with several powertrain options to satisfy a wide range of entry-luxury customers, including the 1.8 TFS, the 2.0 TFSI and the 2.0 TDI clean diesel and the highly performing S3 with a high-output 2.0 TFSI.
Audi of America also announced that the all-new A3 family will have a new member, the A3 Sportback gasoline electric hybrid which will also hit the US market. The automaker unveiled the A3 Sportback e-tron at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, which uses plug in hybrid technology.
“The Audi A3 will set the new benchmark among entry-level luxury sedans,” said Scott Keogh, President, Audi of America. “This A3 line-up redefines the standards of its class in dynamics, efficiency, technology, craftsmanship and performance.”
The Audi A3 raises the bar when it comes to technology offered by an entry-level luxury sedan, as this is the first time when an A-segment model comes with MIMI technology, Bang & Olufsen audio, 4G LTE connectivity and Audi drive select.
