Audi may put the brand new Nanuk Quattro Concept into production over the following years.
The German based automaker Audi may pull a surprise on us and put the new Nanuk Quattro Concept into production, over the following years. The announcement hasn’t been made by the German based automaker officially but it was hinted by Ulrich Hackenburg, while speaking to Automotive News Europe. If the model will indeed receive a final production version than the company’s official says that it will ride on the mid-engined platform, currently used by Lamborghini.
The Audi Nanuk Concept has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, on September 10. The model in question weighs approximately 1,900 kg and it’s powered b a 5.0 liter V10 TDI diesel engine, installed in the middle, which is producing a total output of 544 HP and 1,000 Nm of torque, available from just 1,500 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission, which is sending power to the all-wheel drive system. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 3.8 seconds and top speed stands at 305 km/h (190 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 7.8 L / 100 km.
