Audi plans RS6 Avant Plus

The German based automaker Audi is planning to develop a new version of the RS6 Avant, namaed the RS6 Avant Plus.

The new variant of the newly unveiled 2013 Audi RS6 Avant will wear the “Plus” badge on its body and it will come with a power boost. If it will indeed hit the market, this will be the third “Plus” model signed by Audi, after the TT RS Plus and the R8 V10 Plus. The Audi RS6 Avant Plus is also expected to get a different setup for the suspension and probably some weight reduction.

The most important part of the future Audi RS6 Avant Plus will be found under its hood, where the 560 HP (412 kW) developed by the regular version of the RS6 Avant will be transformed into a total output of 608 HP (447 kW) with the help of some tweaks. Unfortunately we don’t have any additional details on the Audi RS6 Avant Plus and the model isn’t even confirmed for production by the German based automaker, but rumors are saying that we will probably see it for the first time later on this year, probably in Geneva in March or in Frankfurt in September.
