Audi plans three new Q models image

The German based automaker Audi is planning to develop three brand new Q models, which should make their way into the company’s lineup over the following years.

Audi is currently working on the crossovers and SUVs for quite some time now but these models aren’t ready for their future customers just yet. The upcoming vehicles will make their way onto the market under the “Q” name and the very first one expected to arrive is a model smaller than the current Q3, which will get some design cues inspired from the Crosslane Coupe Concept.

Besides the new model smaller than the Q3, Audi is also planning to develop a new Q6 vehicle, which will fill the gap between the current Q5 and Q7. This is the second model expected to make its way onto the market and last, but not least, the German based automaker will produce a direct rival for the BMW X6. This model will get a sloping roof line and it’s expected to get the same engine lineup under its hood as the future generation of the Q7. Additional details on Audi’s brand new Q models are limited for the moment and will be announced close to their debut.
