The German based automaker Audi has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the so-called Prologue Concept, which used to be known as the A9.
After being teased a couple of times, the brand new Audi Prologue Concept is finally here as the model in question has been officially unveiled by the company. The vehicle in question is an elegant coupe which is slightly shorter than the A8 and since it is all about style with the one-off car, the model has a single frame grille positioned lower than on the current production models which has been flanked by the Matrix laser headlights.
We can also see the aggressive air vents with the diamond pattern inserts, the gloss black front spoilers, the sculpted hood, the wide fenders, electromechanically operated doors which open when touched, 3D taillights, a protruding rear bumper and an overall rear end which resembles the one of a Citroen C6. The one-off car is riding on 22-inch alloy wheels.
The interior design of the model is coming with a digital instrument cluster, several touch screens for the driver and front passenger, climate control system, automatically adjustable driver’s seat through the cellphone’s “butler”, high-tech rear seats and so on. As far as the engine goes, the Audi Prologue Concept has a 4.0 liter TFSI V8 engine under its hood, with 605 HP (445 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque, connected to an 8-speed tiptronic transmission. This is sending power to the AWD which is allowing the coupe to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds.
