Audi has introduced the new Prologue Concept as this will be making its public debut in just a few days, during the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show.
Following an announcement made a couple of weeks ago, the brand new Audi Prologue Allroad Concept has been officially unveiled, over the web at this time, as its public debut will be taking place at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, in a few days. The third member of the Prologue family is said to offer a preview of the next A6 Allroad generation and it stands at 5.13 m in length and standing at 77 mm higher than the Prologue Avant concept.
The new one-off vehicle is coming with 20-inch carbon fiber ceramic brake discs, with adaptive air suspension system, dynamic all-wheel steering and so on. Audi says that the interior design of the new Audi Prologue Allroad Concept is coming with four separated seats, with three touch screen displays, with a widescreen display integrated in the instrument panel for the infotainment system which can be configured by the front passenger, additional OLED display on the center console, a climate control system and several other tweaks.
Under its hood, the Audi Prologue Allroad Concept has a 4.0 liter TFSI petrol engine which is twin turbo, backed up by an electric motor which has been integrated into the 8-speed tiptronic transmission. The lithium ion battery is also found, mounted under its rear end, with the 14.1 kWh capacity providing it with an electric range of 54 km (34 miles). The total output of the assembly stands at 734 HP (540 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) it needs 3.5s and it will burn an average of 2.4L / 100km of fuel while emitting 56 g/km of CO2.
