The Audi Prologue Avant Concept has been unveiled over the web ahead of its public debut which will be taking place at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next week.
Audi has put a stop to rumors which were announcing an Avant version of the Prologue Concept for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and has pulled the wraps off the model ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 3rd of March, at the Swiss automotive event. The brand new one-off vehicle has received the stylish wagon body style, along with the single frame grille, the Matrix Laser headlights, the sporty air intakes, muscular fenders, handless doors which can be operated through the discreet sensor integrated in the aluminum window surrounds, the tailgate mounted spoiler, the 3D taillights and the 22-inch alloy wheels to contribute to its looks.
The interior design of the model is kind of restrained and it has received materials including the Unikat leather, the dark ash wood, the aluminum trim and so on. Other goodies found inside it also include the three touch screen displays, the rear seat entertainment system, the four individual seats, the long center console and others. Audi says that the Prologue Avant Concept is also packing the dynamic all-wheel drive steering system, the adaptive air suspension system, the carbon ceramic brakes and more. Power to the concept car is provided by a 3.0L TDI, an electric motor and the 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery. The total output produced is 455 HP (335 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs 5.1s and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The average fuel consumption is 1.6L / 100km (176.5 mpg UK / 147 mpg US).
