New renderings with the Audi Prologue Concept are showing us how the model may look like in a new body style, that of a convertible.
If you are an Audi fan, than the recently unveiled Prologue Concept has given you more conversation stories than any other one, over these past few months, and rumors which were stating that it might be put into production as an answer to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe has probably given you some sleepless nights. The two images posted below are actually renderings of the impressive one-off model and they have been signed by Theophilus Chin, representing the Audi Prologue Cabrio.
Keep in mind that a production version of the model has been simply rumored and not announced officially at this time but if it will indeed hit the assembly line, than the Audi Prologue will most likely be offered as a coupe, at first, and then, in a year or two, it will also be introduced in a convertible body style, so the images in question might provide us with a first look into such a model.
The Audi Prologue Concept has a familiar design, 22-inch alloy wheels, 3D taillights, aggressive air vents, sculpted hood, wide fenders and Matrix laser headlights, amongst others. In the cabin we can find the climate control system, several touch screens, automatically adjustable driver’s seat, high-tech rear seats, digital instrument cluster and more. Power is coming from a 4.0L TFSI V8 engine, with 605 HP (445 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque, connected to the 8-speed gearbox and the AWD system. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the concept car needed just 3.7 seconds.
