The German based automaker Audi is planning to launch the Q3 compact crossover in the United States sometimes next year, along with a sedan version of the new A3 generation.
The car manufacturer isn’t saying anything official on this subject for the moment and if we’ve learned something over these last years is that whenever a carmaker isn’t denying a rumor, chances are that that rumor is telling the truth.
According to Automotive News, the Audi Q3 compact crossover will make its way in the United States as a 2014 model year and it’s expected to get the company’s 2.0 liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder unit under its hood, along with a diesel version, which might be the 2.0 liter TDI which was unveiled just a couple of months before writing this article.
The source mentioned above is also suggesting that the carmaker will also bring the new generation of the Audi A3 in the United States next year but since Americans aren’t big fans of hatchbacks, the company will launch the model in a sedan version, which is also expected to get the above mentioned 2.0 liter turbocharged engine. More details on this subject will probably be announced close to the models’ launch.
