The 2014 Worthersee automotive event has seen the debut of one weird customized Audi Q3, named the Q3 Camping Tent.
As you can see from the images posted below and tell by its name, this has been designed to be the ultimate activity vehicle. The model in question has been equipped with the Audi Original Accessories, such as the roof rack, holding a kayak, the alloy wheels or the strange looking tent, which can be rolled out, inflated and ready in approximately 7 minutes.
“At Worthersee, Audi is presenting an outdoor variant of the Q3 with Audi Original Accessories. It offers practical gadgets for the hobby athlete: a kayak rack and a newly developed concept called the “Q3 camping tent”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The tent of the new Q3 vehicle has a wind load rating of up to 70 km/h (43 mph) and it’s fully freestanding, but it can be fastened to the tailgate of the car. Power to the model is being provided by a 2.0 liter TDI four-cylinder engine, which is rated at 177 HP (130 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 8.2 seconds, when equipped with the 7-speed S tronic gearbox.
