Audi has recently announced its plans to launch the Q3 S in India later on this month, where the model is expected to be priced from Rs 25 lakh.
When you hear about an Audi Q3 S you automatically think of a hardcore version of the model which wants to separate itself from the S line and the RS vehicles produced by the carmaker. This is actually wrong because what Audi says about the Q3 is totally opposite to the previous thought, so forget everything you had in mind. The new Audi Q3 S is basically the new base version of the company’s small SUV and this is expected to become a success in India.
The model in question will come with standard features such as the leather seats, the voice recognition, climate control, cruise control, MMI with Bluetooth and 18-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. The Audi Q3 S will only be available with front-wheel drive and the model will get a detuned 2.0 liter TDI under its hood, which will be good for 140 HP and it will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The model will miss Quattro AWD system and the daytime running LED lights, the company’s trademark. The Audi Q3 S will be launched in India on the 19th of August.
