Audi has recently announced that the facelifted Q5 has been launched in Malaysia where the model can be bought by its future customers starting from RM328, 000, on the road.
According to the German based automaker, the cosmetic enhancements of the Audi Q5 facelift include the new rear diffuser, the new tapered front grille, the revised headlamps, the high gloss black inserts air inlets on the front bumper, the fog lights with chrome rings and more. Audi says that the interior design of the facelifted Q5 now gets chrome accents and the instruments have been modified, along with the ignition key. The steering wheel has a Q-specific design, the center console panels have been finished in gloss black and the steering column has been upgraded.
Just one engine version will be available on the Audi Q5 facelift in Malaysia, the 2.0 liter TFSI petrol burner, which is producing a total output of 225 HP between 4,500 rpm and 6,250 rpm and it has a peak torque of 350 Nm available between 1,500 and 4,500 rpm. The power has increased by 14 HP compared to its predecessor. The Q5 facelift can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 222 km/h. the Audi Q5 facelift will go on sale from the end of this month starting at RM328,000.
