The German based automaker Audi has recently launched the 3.0 TDI engine with 204 HP for its popular Q7 crossover which will be available for the entry-level diesel version.
According to the car manufacturer, the new 3.0 TDI engine has recently been launched in the United Kingdom for the Q7 SUV and the powerplant will be available as an entry-level diesel version. Audi says that its Q7 crossover powered by the 3.0 liter TDI engine is developing a total output of 204 horsepower instead of the usual 245 horsepower between 3.200 and 4.400, which, to be honest, is a little slow for a diesel unit fitted on a large vehicle, and it has a peak torque of 450 Nm available between 1.250 and 2.750.
The Audi Q7 fitted with the 3.0 TDI 204 HP engine can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 9.1 seconds and the crossover can hit a top speed of 127 mph which is translated into 205 km/h. The Q7 with the “new” engine has an average fuel efficiency of 39.2 mpg UK (32.6 mpg US / 7.2 l / 100 km) while emitting 189 grams of CO2 every kilometer. The 3.0 TDI 204 HP Audi Q7 has been launched in the UK and it’s available in Standard, SE, S Line and S Line Plus equipment levels and has a starting price of 47.640 EUR (39.995 GBP).
