The Audi Q8 crossover has been recently rendered and the image posted above is revealing what the vehicle might look like.
After it was given the the Audi Q8 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with a rendering which is revealing what the model might look like. The Audi Q8 will be based on the same platform used by the future Q7 generation and it will go on sale against models like the Land Rover Range Rover Sport and the BMW X6. The Audi Q8 will get a Quattro all-wheel drive even if it will be produced on the MLB platform.
The Audi Q8 is expected to get a variety of powertrains under its hood, ranging from a V8 to a V8, with supercharging and turbocharging in both gasoline and diesel “shapes”. A plug-in hybrid version of the Q8 isn’t left aside either but this variant might make its way onto the market later on, probably one year after the regular version will arrive in showrooms. The Audi Q8 crossover isn’t expected to be launched earlier than 2017. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the following years.
