Audi Quattro will cost 100.000 Euros image

If Audi will bring on sales the new Audi Quattro Concept, it will cost 100.000 Euros. The price will be for the base model.

Audi Quattro Concept design chief Wolfgang Egger sees Quattro as a modern interpretation of the first sports car, in which the company has introduced, 30 years ago, the Quattro all-wheel drive.
Audi Quattro is technically based on the current RS5, which was reduced in length by 20 inches and the wheelbase by 15 inches. The power will be provided from the 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo from the TT RS, but, in the Quattro Concept the engine will make 408 hp. Because Quattro body will be made from lightweight aluminum and carbon, will weighs only 1,300 pounds, and will be capable to hit 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and a top speed over 300 km/h.

Even if the study does not go into series, it was groundbreaking for further model development, Reilly said: “The weight reduction with an increasing number of aluminum and the increased use of carbon, we will implement in any event,” announced the project manager.
