A 19-year old driver of this Audi R8 has managed to crash the exotic ride into a fence after losing control of the wheel.
The newest exotic car crash is coming from the United Kingdom and it involves an Audi R8 from the first generation. According to the guys from Wrecked Exotics, the model in question has been driven by a 19-year old male who lost control of the wheel and smashed it into a fence. The guy has left the scene, along with his female passenger, but he then returned as he lives just around the corner. Police has charged him with drunk driving and driving without an insurance so his father, who is probably the owner of the car, won’t be too happy about the incident.
The previous generation of the Audi R8 has been produced since 2007 and it was recently replaced by a newer model, wearing the same moniker. The sports car was coming in a two-seat version, in two body styles, the 2-door coupe and the 2-door roadster, being related to the Lamborghini Gallardo. The model has a longitudinal mid-engine and Quattro permanent all-wheel drive. It was launched during the Paris Motor Show, back in September 2006, and it came with a choice of two engines, the 4.2 liter FSI V8 and the 5.2 liter FSI V10, connected to either a 6-speed manual, 7-speed manual, 6-speed R-Tronic and 7-sped S-Tronic transmission.
