The German based automaker Audi is planning to fit the upcoming R8 e-tron supercar with a digital center stack with touch capability.
The latest images and videos with the R8 e-tron are showing that the model will get a new digital center stack which will integrate all the controls of the model like the audio system, the climate control and probably everything else, and the model will not get any buttons on the dashboard. The setup is very similar to the one found on the Tesla Model S, which is also using a large digital touch screen for the center stack.
The all-new Audi R8 e-tron is coming with 308 horsepower and with an impressive torque and the supercar will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. Production of the Audi R8 e-tron will be limited and the model will be assembled in Neckarsulm, Germany. Additional details on the final production of the Audi R8 e-tron are limited for the moment and might be released this Thursday, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, where the supercar is expected to make its public debut.
