An Audi R8 supercar has been recently crashed in Indonesia and the “event” has gathered quite a crowd.
The newest supercar incident is coming all the way from the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, where an Audi R8 has definitely seen better days. According to the guys from Wrecked Exotics, chances are that the driver of the German supercar has crashed his ride after having a few drinks and jumping in the cabin. We’re not sure how the accident occurred or if anyone was injured so if you know more on the subject than we do, please feel free to share.
Audi has been producing the R8 since 2007 and, by the end of last year, almost 51,000 units have been assembled in Neckarsulm, Germany. The model has been designed by Walter de Silva and it’s currently being offered in two body styles, a two-door coupe and a two-door roadster. The supercar has a longitudinal mid-engine and Quattro permanent all-wheel drive. The engine lineup includes a 4.2 liter V8 and a 5.2 liter V10, connected to a 6- or 7-speed manual or to a 6- or 7-speed S-Tronic. Audi will introduce towards the end of the year or in 2015 a new generation of the R8.
