Audi has recently introduced a limited edition of the R8 supercar in China, which is coming with some interesting updates to its exterior design and to its cabin.
According to the German based automaker, the Audi R8 limited edition available in China has been finished in Cool Nordic Gold paint and the model is also getting a matte carbon fiber rear wing, matte carbon fiber side blades and matte carbon fiber mirrors. Matte black trim, titanium grey accents and the 19-inch alloy wheels are also available for the German supercar in question.
The cabin of the Audi R8 limited edition hasn’t been left aside either and it’s getting the Cool Nordic Gold trim, the Alcantara wrapped sport seats, the “shark skin” leather knee pads, the individually numbered aluminum gear knob and the carbon fiber door handles. The Audi R8 limited edition is powered by the company’s 5.2 liter V10 engine, which is producing a total output of 525 HP (386 kW) and it has a peak torque of 530 Nm (391 lb-ft), mated to an R tronic transmission sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. The supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Prices for the model start at 2,628,000 Yuan (317,435 euros) and production has been limited to 30 units.
