Audi R8 gets modified by Regula Tuning

The aftermarket specialists at Regula Tuning have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a so-called “grandiose” body kit for the Audi R8.

The Audi R8 is probably one of the most tuned supercars out there, together with its “sister” the Lamborghini Gallardo, and the latest example is coming from the guys at Regula Tuning, who are offering probably one of the strangest body kits out there which, compared to other upgrades available for the German vehicle, comes at just 7,698 euros.

“Due to the TÜV-certified quality management system, all REGULA-Tuning mounting parts have the TÜV-technical report and can therefore easily be registered with each examiner. The body kit costs 7,698 euros and is available for the presented here V10 version, as well as for the models V8 Spyder (from May 2010) and Coupé”, as the tuner is saying in its official press release.

According to the tuning company, the Audi R8’s body kit has been made out of aramid (aromatic polyamide) fibers and it includes a new front bumper, a spoiler, a ventilated rear fascia, an integrated diffuser, mesh grille inserts and a fresh set of 20-inch Oxigin wheels, 8.5 inches wide at the front and 11 inches wide at the rear. A Performance modification is also available for the model, which is allowing the V10 engine to produce 560 HP (412 kW) for 1,398 euros.
