The German aftermarket specialists at Wheelsandmore have revealed an updated R8 GT Spyder which is coming with a new body kit and a power boost.
One of the most interesting cabriolets on the market, the Audi R8 GT Spyder, has recently received an upgrade from Wheelsandmore, which is bringing some aerodynamic enhancements and an impressive new output of 620 horsepower. According to the German tuner, the Audi R8 GT Spyder has beenfitted with a new suspension, which is lowering the ride height by 4 cm with the help of a hydraulic system. The R8 GT Spyder is powered by the same 5.2 V10, which is now developing 620 HP and 590 Nm of torque. The top speed achieved by the supercar is now 335 km/h. No official price for the upgrade package has been announced yet.
As a quick reminder, the new Audi R8 GT Spyder has a starting price of 210,000 USD over-seas, including the $1,200 destination charge. The model’s 5.2 liter V10 engine is producing, in standard configuration, 552 HP and 540 Nm of torque (398 lb-ft), allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 197 mph (317 km/h). Only 333 units of the Audi R8 GT Spyder are available worldwide.
