An Audi R8 V10 Spyder hit a Ford Fiesta last week in Birmingham, after doing 80 mph in a 30 mph zone, killing the passenger of the B-segment hatchback.
The driver of an Audi R8 V10 Spyder has been arrested last week in the United Kingdom after crashing his ride into a Ford Fiesta, leaving an innocent woman dead. The man left the scene of the accident and was later caught by the police. Sadly, medics couldn’t do anything for the woman who was a passenger in the Fiesta as she passed away instantly.
“To look at the state of the car I’d say it must have been a head-on collision, the car was smashed to pieces. For that kind of impact he must have been going at least 70 or maybe 80mph – I’m surprised there weren’t more fatalities. It seems to me as though it’s a young man having his first drive of an Audi R8, he’s got cocky and then panicked when he saw the Fiesta approaching”, said an eyewitness.
The medical crew who arrived on the scene found the woman in cardiac arrest. They performed CPR but after several resuscitation attempts and advanced life support, nothing could be done and she was confirmed dead on scene. The driver of the Audi R8 V10 Spyder is facing a lot of years behind bars for his actions.
