A new rendering for the upcoming Audi RS1 Sportback has recently hit the web and it’s showing us how the small and powerful model may look like.
It may be a bit early to talk about a top of the line RS1 version of the S1 and S1 Sportback considering the fact that the two models have been unveiled just a few months ago but even so, the guys from designrm.wordpress.com have created it in the virtual world, for the moment. The model in question is looking more aggressive than the already available S1 but the most significant changes will be under its body.
When it will eventually hit the market, the new Audi RS1 Sportback will most likely get an updated suspension system, improved brakes and probably a better steering, compared to the already available model. The pocket rocket will also get an aerodynamic body kit and larger wheels, along with a new exhaust system. Chances are it will be powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine which will produce more than 231 HP (170 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque found on the S1. Thanks to the Quattro AWD it should hit 100 km/h from a standstill in approximately 5 seconds.
