A couple of renderings with the Audi RS3 Sedan are showing us a body style of the range-topping A3 model that will probably never happen.
Audi has some big plans for its future models and one of these will include the addition of an RS3 Sedan, but until that will happen, the S3 Sedan will remain the range-topping version of the model. For the five-door hatchback version, Audi is currently offering the RS3 version, but did you ever wonder what this would look like in an estate body style? Well, if the answer is “no”, don’t worry, because Theophilus Chin has and the result can be seen in the two images posted below. Don’t get your hopes up because chances are the carmaker will never offer such a version of the RS3.
The current version of the Audi RS3 Sportback is getting the high performance brakes, the sport tuned suspension system, carbon fiber trim, flat bottom steering wheel, Nappa leather sport seats with contrast stitching and more. Power to the hot hatch is being provided by a 2.5 liter five-cylinder petrol engine which is capable of producing a total output of 367 HP (270 kW) and 465 Nm (342 lb-ft) of torque. This is making it more powerful than its main rivals, the A45 AMG and the M135i. The unit is sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system through a 7-speed S tronic transmission which is allowing the model to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 4.3s and to go up to 250 km/h (155 mph).
